Lockeroom membership terms and conditions.

  • The ‘member’ means the person/client signing this contract.

    The ‘gyms’ means the gymnasium and associated facilities located at the premises LOCKEROOM Club (Shop 2, 38-42 Bridge Street, Sydney, 2000).

    LOCKEROOM GYM” means Global Strength Projects Pty Ltd (ABN 59 637 811 057) at LOCKEROOM Club (Shop 2, 38-42 Bridge Street, Sydney, 2000).

    "Gym Rules" the rules of the Gym as amended from time to time at our discretion.

    "Membership" your membership to the Gym pursuant to this document (and Member has a corresponding meaning).

  • Bookings


    (a) You can book up to your session cap each calendar week. (Your session cap is the maximum number of sessions allowed per week based on your membership plan.)

    (b) You can book up to ONE session per day maximum.

    (c) Waitlist: If you join the waitlist for a session, it counts as a booking only if you are added to the session. Your booking credit will be refunded if you do not get a spot.

    (d) Rollover Sessions: Unused weekly sessions roll over for one additional week only (i.e., they expire one week after rolling over).

    (e) You can book sessions up to four weeks in advance.

    Late Cancellations & No-Shows


    (a) A late cancellation occurs if you cancel within:
    10 hours of a morning (AM) session
    4 hours of an evening (PM) session.

    (b) Late cancellations and no-shows will be treated as ‘used’ sessions and deducted from your weekly session cap.

    (c) Emergency Exception: If an emergency arises (family, health, etc.), we may replace your session upon request.

    Early Cancellations

    (a) You may cancel a session ‘early’ at any time before the late cancellation window without losing the session.


    Grace Period for Cancellations


    (a) You may cancel a session up to one hour after booking it without penalty.
    If you cancel within this one-hour grace period, your booking credit will be refunded, even if the session falls within the late cancellation window.


  • (a) If more than one payment, the member agrees to pay the instalment amount at agreed payment frequency for the length of the contract.

    (b) Where any payment is dishonoured, expenses may be asked of you to cover the agreed costs associated with each dishonour.

    (c) If there are multiple failures to meet your payment obligations under this document, but without prejudicing our right to recover any overdue payments, your Membership may be suspended or terminated by us by notice to you.

    (d) Limited Session Memberships do not accumulate or roll month to month for any unused sessions. Unused sessions expire at the end of every week.

  • (a) We may restrict or terminate your Membership if:

    (i) we have concern for your health and/or safety;

    (ii) you do not comply with any terms of this document or a reasonable direction our staff may give;

    (iii) we so determine in our absolute discretion; or

    (iv) we determine that we are no longer the right fitness solution for you at our discretion.

    (b) The member may not terminate or cancel the Agreement except as follows:

    (i) Within the first 30 days for new clients only (i.e. clients who are using LOCKEROOM Gym for the very first time). We offer a 30 day full money back guarantee. This guarantee is valid only after the completion of 4 sessions and at the end of the 30 days.
    This is not on offer for clients that have used our service before in the past 12 months.

    (ii) All pre-paid memberships are non-refundable. But may be refunded at the full discretion of LOCKEROOM Gym.

  • 2025 Holds Policy (75% Credit from Week 2, 1-Week Rollover for Sessions)

    (a) Membership Hold Policy
    Financial Credit for Holds: If you place your membership on hold, you will receive a 75% financial credit of your membership fee for each hold week, starting from the second week onward.
    (b) Returning from a Hold: Your first week back includes a 1-week rollover of unused credits from the week before your hold ended. (E.g., on a 2x/week membership, you'll have 4 credits when you return.)
    (c) Credit Use: Financial credits can be applied toward your next membership renewal.
    (d) Full Weeks Only: Holds must start on a Monday and end on a Friday.

    2024 Holds Policy (75% Credit, 2-Week Minimum)

    (a) Membership Hold Policy
    Financial Credit: Members placing their membership on hold will receive a 75% financial credit of their membership fee.
    (b) Minimum Hold Period: Holds must be for a minimum of two whole weeks, starting on a Monday.
    (c) Credit Use: Financial credits can be applied toward your next membership renewal.
    (d) Full Weeks Only: Holds must start on a Monday and end on a Friday.

    3-Year Loyalty Member Policy (95% Hold, No Minimum)

    (a) 3-Year Client Deal – Hold Policy
    Financial Credit: Receive a 95% financial credit on any hold.
    (b) No Minimum Period: Holds can be for any duration.
    (c) Credit Use: Financial credits can be applied toward your next membership renewal.
    (d) Full Weeks Only: Holds must start on a Monday and end on a Friday.

    January 2025 Hold Policy (Session Credit up to 3 weeks + 70% Financial Credit After 3 Weeks)

    (a) Member Hold Policy
    First 3 Weeks*: Holds accumulate session credits based on your weekly membership allocation.
    After 3 Weeks*: Holds receive a 70% financial credit.
    (b) Financial Credit Use: Financial credits can be applied toward your next membership renewal.
    (c) Session Credit Use: Accrued sessions can be used anytime you run out of weekly credits.
    (d) Full Weeks Only: Holds must start on a Monday and end on a Friday.

    Exceptional Circumstance 100% Hold


    (a) Exceptional Circumstance Hold (100% Credit)
    (b) Financial Credit: Receive a 100% credit for the duration of your hold.
    (c) Financial Credit Use: Financial credits can be applied toward your next membership renewal.
    (d) Full Weeks Only: Holds must start on a Monday and end on a Friday.

  • At any time after the end of the terms of this Agreement LOCKEROOM Gym may change the gym membership fees.

  • I grant Lockeroom, and persons authorised by them, permission to take pictures and movies of me and use them on their website and other promotional and educational materials without compensation to me. This includes Linkedin. Images obtained by me will not be used for any commercial purpose without the prior written consent of Lockeroom.

  • This document and the transactions contemplated by it are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia.

  • (a) For security purposes, we may use video and audio surveillance equipment to monitor the Gym (but not the bathrooms or assessment rooms). By accessing the Gym, you may and likely will be subject to video and audio surveillance and recording.
